Engineering Capital Project Manager

Alexander Steele are currently recruiting for an Engineering Capital Project Manager role for a large Food Manufacturing Business.

This is a multi-site role paying between £75,000 - £80,000 and is great for an individual who is looking to progress their career and develop with a growing business.

This is a key role for the business and you will be responsible for ensuring the successful categorisation, evaluation and delivery of capital projects. This is a full lifecycle role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Project Engineering professional to drive standards of excellence. You will require a track record of Engineering experience and Procurement acumen as well as Capex control over multiple projects.

Key Role Requirements

• Capex control, prioritisation & delivery (not accepting of project drift), robust delivery of projects to support the UK facilities.
• FMCG / Food & Drink Manufacturing Specific Skills i.e. build production line, office, build in the innovation ‐ proposing ideas
• Would work very closely with several factory teams to deliver their investment plans
• Strong project management skills & leadership skills
• Control over 30 Capex projects varying in value

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience at professional level in either manufacturing or engineering preferred
• Experience delivering engineering projects in project engineering position
• Proven capability within a Blue-Chip Organisation including the ability to positively engage at senior level
• You will need a BA Degree in Engineering or equivalent of education.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Prince2 are also needed for the role.
