A very varied Technical Assistant role where the successful candidate will gain excellent real-life experience of dealing with many of the major multiple retailers across the whole Technical function.
OUR CLIENT Is a vibrant, fast growing manufacturer of premium snack foods, supplying most of the major multiple retailers, both with branded and retailer own-label products.
Technical Records - maintain supplier quality approval & documentation.
Completing product specifications for major retailers.
To ensure the safety, legal and quality requirements are met for all products bought and sold by the company.
Generating and updating product specifications in line with customer requirements and legislations.
Preparing and maintaining the BRC and Soil Association standards throughout the company.
Logging and investigating customer complaints within the required time frame.
Completion of customer paperwork.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We're looking for a candidate that shows enthusiasm, initiative and is well-organised and reliable. However, the following basic skills would be an advantage -
Having plenty of initiative and common sense as well as a willing to take on different tasks and generally get involved.
Strong IT (good excel knowledge) and communication skills will be essential - due to the nature of the role you will need to be confident in communicating with people face to face or over the phone.
Experience in a Technical Environment
Excellent presentation and communication skills
An ability to learn quickly in order to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the role and accompanying responsibilities
An ability to work efficiently and enthusiastically both as part of a team and individually.
