The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customers with Procurement requirements, to source products at an appropriate quality and price, understanding the appropriate routes to market

My client is a leading foodserivce wholesaler who provide a wide range of product into a wide range of sectors.
Description
- Communicate price reviews and provide market data to wider business
- Support business sectors in line with group strategies
- Facilitate bench marking sessions internally, as well as with customers to mitigate cost increases
- Work to remove bespoke SKUs where possible with key national accounts as well as Free Trade customers
- Supplier management - Negotiate cost rebates to support the business in winning new tenders
- Manage an effective sourcing strategy to provide continuity of supply on both branded and own brand products
- Support the business with the tender process
