As a Marketing Executive you will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns across numerous channels, retailers and categories.

You will co-ordinate and secure alignment on marketing materials across multiple teams externally and within Greencore and then work on these from concept through to landing in-market.

You will need to extract market, consumer and category data from relevant sources and in market safaris then convert it into campaign ideas to help shape future marketing activities, as well as measuring and reviewing them.

You will also respond to ad hoc queries and issue-related requests regarding activation.

We are currently looking for an energetic and tenacious Marketing Executive to support the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns that will drive our Food to Go category growth strategy across all channels and Retailers by putting the shopper at the core of everything we do.  

As well as working with our key design partners, you will work with the Greencore Category, Innovation & Commercial teams to turn information into actionable insights that drives the shopper activation agenda. Whilst working on-site at our Manton Wood office you will co-ordinate activities across multiple internal and external teams based on various sites.

This role sits within our newly developed Shopper Marketing function and will play a key role in supporting key shopper tactics in alignment with our Category Management and Commercial KPI’s.  Greencore is consistently recognised as best-in-class by our retail customers – achieving No.1 in the Advantage Group Trade Attitude Survey for the last 2 consecutive years.

Main responsibilities

An individual of Graduate Calibre in a Marketing or Business related subject, with a strong understanding of how best to influence the full shopper journey, from pre, during & post purchase.

The role will also require an element of analytical skills in order to measure key shopper marketing related KPI’s (conversion, penetration, weight of purchase, spend).  

A highly professional and maintain the highest possible standards at all times as you are representing Greencore with all stakeholders. 

An individual with  strong organisational and project management skills, the ability to manage a budget and be proactive in making recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have experience of using retailer data and accessing customer data sources. Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills are essential, and the ability to prepare and deliver presentations is required.

You will need to have a strong work ethic,  thrive in fast-paced environments and be able to deal with ambiguity.

Whilst not essential, a passion for food would be preferred.

You will also need to be comfortable travelling to multiple sites across the UK by both train and car, with a full UK driving license being essential.
