International Technical Manager

We are looking for an experienced and passionate International Technical Manager who will work as an ambassador for NSF and be responsible for providing dedicated technical resource to Costa International including auditing of the International supply chain and Franchise Partners to Costa standards. 

Do you have good experience of external auditing within the food manufacturing industry and enjoy frequent overseas travel?  

You will have the opportunity to undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular in-country technical management reviews with franchise partners to assure compliance with Costa requirements
  • Liaise with and train in-country franchise partners to ensure that appropriate control standards and compliance assessment protocols are implemented to enable compliance with the Costa International Technical Policy
  • Support franchise partners in developing sub-contract relationships with appropriate service providers.
  • Evaluate, audit and review Franchisee product specifications
  • Represent Customers when auditing suppliers, working on Industry panels and liaising with external bodies
  • Approving product labels for the import and export of Costa Products

    We are looking for an individual with the following experience, abilities, and qualifications:

  • Minimum of HNC or equivalent in a food or Bio Science related discipline
  • Successful completion of a Lead Assessor course
  • Level 3 HACCP
  • Able to travel and work internationally extensively
  • Relevant post graduate experience in an industry, or quality management experience
  • Knowledge of international food law and the application of in-country
  • Experience in auditing within a technical role
  • Ability to add value to client audits to achieve the standards required
  • High level of technical aptitude
  • Collaborative working style
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
