Job Details
Are you a Food Technologist with experience of working closely with suppliers?
Do you have a broad range of food experience and are looking to work for a great brand, where you can bring out the foodie in you?
Main Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the management of a diverse range of supplier relationships; for managing risk; and for ensuring traceability and implementation of a sustainable quality management system across the supplier base.
You will also be responsible for performing supplier site visits and audits of new and established suppliers alike.
Just as importantly, you’ll be actively encouraged to help effect positive changes within their supply base, from processing sites right down to growing, wild harvest and mining levels.
The role will also coordinate and provide quantifiable metrics to allow the real-time assessment of supplier performance against the business targets and Operational procedures.
The role is primarily based at head office but there will be time spent travelling to supplier locations once a week.
Key Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will have achieved a Food Science or related scientific degree and have some experience within a technical or quality assurance role, ideally from a food retail or food manufacturing background.
Advanced excel and access experience is preferred
Auditing experience would also be advantageous
The successful candidate will show an understanding of the brand, and a passion for truly extraordinary food, drink and luxury goods.
