Are you an experienced NPD Technologist looking to take the next step in their career? Or are you an experience NPD manager looking for a new challenge?

The Role

To oversee the running of the NPD function for your specified retailer. Managing, mentoring and coaching an NPD Technologist while delivering excellent client services to your customers.

Responsibilities

• Using knowledge and market research to identify appropriate NPD activity
• Ensure all development activities meet the expectations of the business ensuring they remain market leaders
• Ensure excellent customer relationship is maintained, this will involve meeting with customers and delivering presentations
• Manage and act on concept to launch development
• Make samples for customer panels and sign off panels
• Assist with factory trials working closely with the process manager
• Understand and raise any product development issues

The Candidate

• Good background in food manufacturing working with retail customers
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Good people skills and coaching skills
• Good knowledge of labelling standards, allergen info and food legislation is beneficial
• Attention to detail and passion for food
