NPD Project Manager

Despite what a lot of adverts will tell you, truly special, career defining roles come around rarely.

The role involves joining the NPD team of one of the superfood industries leading companies to develop new, vegan friendly, products as the company continues to grow their product portfolio.  In an industry that is constantly evolving, they pride themselves on staying one step ahead of their competitors as they search for more nutritious superfoods and develop new products

This isn’t a typical NPD role as you’ll be involved at every stage, from ideas, to recipe development to the final sign off and due to product requirements that’ll also include dealing with organisations such as the Soil Association and Vegan Society for approval.

You’ll also be:

• Ensuring the pack copy and artwork is legal and up to Trading Standards requirements
• Working with new suppliers to ensure product approval
• Sourcing ingredients and ordering samples, making sure that everything comes in on budget
• Taking care of the internal and external trials.

We’re looking for someone with the same knowledge and passion for superfoods as the client, with an in depth understanding of the wider market and up to speed with latest trends, ingredients and recipes

You’ll need experience in recipe development and be confident enough to contribute ideas for the products and ingredients and a working knowledge of dealing with approvals and compliance of the relevant food authorities
