Job Details
We are working with a leading fresh produce producer who currently supplies some of the UK's largest retailers. This business champions some of the most up to date and advanced farming methods which enables them to produce top quality products.
The successful candidate's duties will include administrating supplier due diligence, customer supplier management systems, pesticide testing, incident investigation and record collation. Other duties will include monitoring and improving quality and technical systems to ensure the control of product safety, quality and legality and to offer support to the Technical team with other tasks when requested.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Member of the HACCP team.
Maintain the Growers and Variety List.
Maintain customer Muddy Boots and Supply Chain systems.
Support on maintaining the Group Supplier Due Diligence information ensuring it is up to date and records held.
Maintain group sites and nurseries due diligence records and maintain KPI's.
Microbiological testing regime, result collation and reporting.
Carryout the Group Pesticide Residue monitoring schedule tests, collation of results and reporting KPIs.
Support in gathering data to compile the supplier risk assessments.
Support in gathering data for any pesticide exceedance.
Collation of weekly and monthly KPI reports.
Champion and lead the group's benchmarking / taste panel schedule in line with customer codes of practice.
Undertake Internal audits
SAP - Creating materials
SAP - Create pick
SAP - Create purchase requisitions and receive goods/services.
Greenlight - Set up goods in checks / supplier set up.
Support with admin collating data/ info.
Samples completed if requested.
Arrange testing of samples.
The Candidate:
You will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in most to all of the responsibilities detailed above.
Competent with Excel and SAP ERP system.
Ability to build strong relationships with business and external suppliers.
Keen eye for detail.
Experience in fresh produce is desirable.
There is a great salary and benefits package available for the right person. Hours of work are: Monday - Thursday 8.30pm - 5pm, Friday, 8.30pm - 4pm
