With a new state of the art factory we are looking to ensure that hygiene is at the centre of our food manufacturing culture.

Reporting into the Head of Technical, the Hygiene Manager is the driving force of the operations department. The purpose of the role will be to provide hygiene consultancy to our operations team across multiple shifts.

You will be responsible for providing training and development programmes and procedural manuals to enhance the hygiene culture. You will manage the deep clean schedule and have a major input in audits, maintaining cleaning standards, records and procedures in a state compliant to BRC and other relevant audit standards.

You will be the go-to person for all hygiene needs in a high risk and high care factory. Managing the equipment budget and control key contracts; including laundry, chemical supply, consumables, PEE and waste

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge of hygiene from either a Hygiene or Production background with HACCP Level 3.
• A candidate with the gravitas and confidence to influence and direct individuals
•  A positive and proactive attitude, you will be ready to challenge the management team rather than wait for instruction.
• You will have the confidence to liaise regularly with Technical, Engineering, Production, Planning and other departments to ensure hygiene work is carried our correctly and effectively
