Reporting into the Group Technical Manager this role will form part of the management team that provides specialist food products to established international brands.

Our client is the UK's leading provider of specialist food product supplying a range of customers including major retailers

Description





The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for meeting standards and maintaining a strong Health and Safety Environment at all times whilst motivating the team to ensure audits, meetings and lab work targets are met.





Other day to day responsibilities will include:







-Oversee audits



-Hold meetings to discuss performance against plan



-Ensure health and safety is prioritised at all times



-Manage a team to work to KPI's ensuring product is delivered to customer on spec



-Encourage a strong team culture to increase team performance



Profile



The successful Production Supervisor will have a range of the following:







-A relevant qualification in Food or Chemistry



-Experience within food manufacturing processes



-Understanding of BRC and Supermarkets standards of manufacturing



-Ability to conduct audits, testing and lab work



-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team and build team culture



-Feel comfortable working on shop floor and being office based



-Ambition to progress in career and lead development within team progression
