Senior Electrical Engineer

We are currently helping recruit for an experienced Electrical Engineer to be based at the site of one of the UK's top food businesses. They are one of the leading suppliers of branded and own label products to some of the largest retailers and foodservice providers in the UK and Europe.

What are they looking for?
The ideal candidate has to be a highly experienced electrical engineer who can evidence a proven track record of working within this environment. Alongside being a highly experienced electrical engineer they must be able to also show a good working, mechanical knowledge, ideally including conveyors, elevators, inverters and pressure systems. Furthermore the candidate will ideally have experience and been involved with PPM and project work.

What is the Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for?
As Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and improving all of the equipment and machinery on site. Overall key objective of the role is to reduce and minimise downtime, whilst working to the highest standards to comply with legislations. Alongside the day-to-day responsibilities you will be required to oversee small project installations from concept to handover.

As Senior Electrical Engineer you will be required to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, typically consisting of 40hrs per week with shifts running from 6am to 6pm. Flexibility around these hours is required.
