NPD Project Manager

Based: Stevenage

To work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth and timely delivery of all NPD/EPD projects in the UK and international markets

  • Responsible for the co-ordination of projects ranging in scale and complexity from new product launches to minor design amends across the UK & International business
  • Responsible to ensure that project timelines are met and facilitate prioritisation decisions
  • Responsible to ensure that established departmental processes & procedures are utilized & maintained, i.e stage & gate process
  • Primary liaison with the Internal stakeholders and their Design & Technical Agencies to ensure all parties are fully briefed and objectives agreed
  • Primary liaison with Innovation and Brand in the UK and International to ensure that there is full alignment within the team on key priorities
  • Ensure that all staff members are kept suitably briefed with regard to NPD. 
  • Ensure that staff training requirements, with regard to new products, are identified and that training is completed before product first production

You:

  • Degree level or equivalent in a food related subject
  • Previous experience in a brand led project management role is essential
  • Full understanding of NPD process in a manufacturing environment
  • A real ‘foodie’ at heart
  • Ability to project manage to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of brand and the importance of NPD in brand growth/ development.
  • Be able to work  in fast moving/fast changing environment
  • Ability to manage different stakeholders with different seniority levels
