Multi-Skilled Engineer

A one off opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Electrical Engineer to join a food manufacturing organisation. This business has undergone significant growth and investment and this opportunity represents a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. Although you will be from an electrical background it would be highly advantageous if you have some mechanical exposure.

In this highly autonomous role your will report to the site manager and have full autonomy for the maintenance of the state of the art machinery. However, we are looking for much more than an Electrical Engineer - we are seeking someone who yearns for more responsibility and thrives in a fast paced and progressive environment which is continually changing. The machinery is all new so breakdowns are expected to be minimal so with this in mind we are seeking a progressive individual who is able to write the SOPs and Risk Assessments for the machinery, whilst also rolling out the necessary training to the operators.

This role is suited to a graduate or HNC qualified engineer with the necessary electrical qualifications, or someone with roughly a years commercial experience, ideally from within the food industry, who wants to develop their career within a major player. You will be a natural people person who finds it easy to engage across all levels and has the confidence to make a difference.
