Compliance Manager | Fresh Produce

We are working with a leading fresh produce business who are looking to recruitment an experienced fresh produce / food Compliance Manager to manage and develop the QMS for a multi-site business and offer technical support to Product Managers. The role will report into the Head of Quality & Compliance and you will ensure the business is 100% compliant to meet all retailer requirements.

The Job:
Specification management and communication, including management of customer databases as required.
Sample preparation & produce benchmark sampling as required.
Quality KPI updates as required.
Collation and management of the Due Diligence, ensuring that suppliers are compliant, eg Global Gap, SEDEX, BRC, Fairtrade, Organic etc.
Maintain supplier/grower database
Maintain Internal Auditing schedule
Management of residue testing schedule
Managing QA Equipment and Calibration, internal & external

The Candidate:
You will be currently in a similar compliance role or looking for your first management role.
Working knowledge of BRC 8, HACCP, Sedex, etc.
Experience of managing customer databases and portals.
Experiencing of auditing
Fresh produce knowledge would be good, but will look at food manufacturing.
