You will be working for an innovative and expanding food business which has won several prestigious awards for their great tasting products.

The job

The purpose of the Materials Controller is to manage the site inventory and stock control for packaging and finished goods,

You will manage all co-packers for both packaging, raw materials, production and distribution, maintain forecasts for all customers, process orders for international customers including transportation and paperwork, manage all stock enquiries, purchase goods from suppliers and analyse supplier performance, source and establish potential new suppliers, assist in managing the internal Product Database, assist in managing production requirements plus work with the sales and marketing teams to understand stock requirements for product launches, promotions, Xmas etc.

Your experience

To be considered for the Materials Controller job, you will be highly organised, have excellent analytical skills and possess previous procurement, supply chain, forecasting or stock management experience within food manufacturing. You will be proficient in Excel and a background within production planning and working with bill of materials is highly desirable. You will be ambitious with a passion for making improvements, implementing change and growing with the business.

The Materials Controller job is based in London and is paying £30,000. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 6pm.
