We are currently recruiting for a Training & Onboarding Co-ordinator to support our Distribution site in West Drayton.   

This is an exciting new role with the business which works closely with site management, Learning & Development and Health & Safety teams and ensuring we deliver the best induction to all of our new colleagues. This role will ensure that colleagues are supported with all aspects of training;  from joining the business, through induction and whilst on the job. This role will also ensure that colleagues are equipped with the right tools to carry out their work effectively.  

Key responsibilities

  • Provide Induction training for all new starters on the Transport department
  • Work with L&D teams to update training materials as required
  • Ensure all company SOP’s are compliant with BRC, H&S and site specific needs
  • Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance requirements in line with BRC
  • Perform regular audits on materials, SOP’s and colleague safety
  • Create and manage all colleague feedback and review on a regular basis
     

Working days and hours are generally Monday to Friday,- 8.30am to 5pm.

There is a requirement to be flexible as we operate 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.  There may be times you need to work across other shifts times, which will mean some evening work on occasion. 

Additionally, there may be a limited amount of travel to our smaller distribution centres around the UK. We welcome applications from candidates who are open to discuss flexible working options.

  • Logical thinker who can adapt to new situations
  • Able to communicate and influence across a varied stakeholder group
  • Strong presentation style
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of vehicle defect procedures and maintenance problems
  • Background in a Food, Distribution or FMCG environment ideal
