Stock Controller

My client, a leading food manufacture in North West London are seeking a Stock Manager to join their leadership team.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for leading a stock inventory, managing stock from it being received through to it being despatched. You will monitor and maintain stock integrity, ensure alignment with stock systems and fulfil audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities  

• Develop and improve the stock management process
• Develop and manage robust and accurate reporting
• Develop the strategy for the physical inventory
• Monitor and report on stock discrepancies
• Work closely with other internal departments
• Lead and motivate the inventory team 
• Analyse stock trends, recommending slow and non-movers, damaged items and returns
• Successful Candidate
• Proven track record of analysing data to enable decision making 
• Extensive stock management and audit experience working with FMCG goods
• Experienced in devising and implementing stock procedures
• Well organised with highly numerical and analytical skills 
• Build strong relationships with and influence stakeholders
• This is a strategic and analytical position that would suit a results-orientated professional. 
  Hours of Work 8.30am-6pm
