Night Production Manager- Pet Food Manufacturing

My client a successful and well-respected pet food manufacture in the area of Northampton seeking a Night Shift Production Manager to oversee and lead the production of the processing/packaging area, implementing a sustainable manufacturing culture in this fast-paced manufacturing site.

Reporting to the Factory Manager you will be responsible for planning, organizing and controlling production of the processing/packaging area, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, on time, within the set budgets and meeting the high-quality standard.

You will have excellent communication and leaderships skills, to manage, develop and lead your teams. You will be focused on quality control with attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritizing work to meet deadlines.

Skills and experience;

-Working within a fast-paced food production, manufacturing and engineering sectors

-Focused on continuous improvement, efficiencies and LEAN processes

-Strong communicator

-Budgetary and cost control awareness

-Leadership skills, keen to develop, guide and drive change from within

- Focus on Lean methodology and business improvement and sustainability

Salary- £40,000

Nights- Monday to Friday

Hours – 10pm to 6am
