Are you looking for a career with a company that has a long history of success acquisition growth and brand development? We started in 1920 with William Dean collecting eggs from smallholders and selling them door-to-door!

Ambition and ambition resulted in acquisition after acquisition and the creation of Noble Foods and the first branded egg product Happy Eggs in 2009

To maintain our growth and ambition we have embarked on a huge investment in our packing centres, with automation, robotics and a desire to have a state-of-the-art production centre. .But we can’t do that without your help. Why? Because it’s our people that make us who we are.

Due to this growth we are currently recruiting Production Shift Managers

  • Actively control the rotation and allocation of egg from the Ungraded Warehouse to optimise efficiency and reduce waste
  • Working closely with the engineering team, agree and implement improvements to the process to maximise machine productivity, minimise down-time and ensure that hygiene operations do not impact negatively on machinery
  • Plan production runs to minimise waste, maximise product life, meet customer dispatch times, and achieve the best possible throughput
  • Drive product quality, integrity and traceability. Ensure work is completed to a high-standard, and all necessary documentation is completed
  • Work in conjunction with central / QA teams to implement legislative changes / management system updates
  • Communicate new promotional activity to the team, and plan ahead to anticipate future demands on the production process
  • Conduct regular team briefs with direct reports
  • Adopt a “Right First Time” approach to the role
  • To be “audit-ready” at all times, ensure that site hygiene, health & safety and document control are in line with customer specifications and always up to date
  • Play an active role in third party audits where required

  • Produce and implement a hygiene management plan in line with site and customer food manufacturing standards
  • Oversee and approve plans for periodic deep cleansing of Critical Control Points
