On this site, as a production manager you will have a strong strategic element in your role. Leaving a majority of the performance of the day to day down to your skilled Shift Managers, you will be responsible for the full 24/7 operation and will take a more long term strategic approach to driving improvements across site.

As Production Manager, it will be your responsibility to ensure that each understands the full range of their role.

Change can be scary for some. 'This is the way we have always done it'. You will have free reign to improve the site, meaning that to do so, your team need to be on board. You will have experience in cultural change as well as taking a consultative approach in order for people to understand that change is, at the end of the day, to make everyone's life easier. You will be working with a lot of new, state of the art machinery and implementing training, improving processes. It is essential you have a strong CI background and that you can demonstrate results from implementation of techniques.
