To work with the Farm Manager and other team members at Newark Farm to achieve all aspects listed below:-

To ensure that the highest standards are maintained in stock husbandry, bird welfare, flock performance and egg quality.

  1. To ensure the highest site standards are maintained and the environmental policy is adhered to
  2. To operate effectively the Company Health & Safety Policy

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety
  • Bio-Security
  • Record Keeping
  • Workforce Management
  • Site/Environmental

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience with animal husbandry would be a benefit.
  • Genuine interest in animal welfare, full training will be given.
  • Good numeracy and literacy levels to complete paperwork accurately.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid licence and own transport is essential to react to alarm calls when required.
