The job

As Packing/Production Supervisor, you will ensure the smooth running of the production / packing environment plus ensure the manufacture of products adhere to the highest quality standards by liaising with Quality, Health & Safety, Engineering and Hygiene Supervisors and Managers.

Duties include:

• Monitor stock levels, material supply and material utilisation
• Ongoing monitoring of quality and efficiency standards raising any non-conformances identified
• Ensure GMP standards are followed and follow-up actions completed
• Oversee the Health & Safety of the Production Operatives
• Ensure your team is motivated, capable, well trained and efficient to ensure targets and standards are achieved
• Maintenance of labour costs through effective allocation

Your experience

The Packing/Production Supervisor job would suit an enthusiastic and meticulous individual who wants to progress and develop in an international food manufacturing business.

You will possess previous FMCG experience together with a track record of supervising production / packing teams. Qualifications within people management or team leading is highly desirable.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, together with a good level of numeracy. You will also ideally be familiar in the use of SAP or similar warehouse management systems.

The Packing/Production Supervisor job is based in the North West region and is paying a highly competitive salary according to individual skills and previous experience.

This is a night shift position working Monday to Friday, 10 pm – 6 am (40 hours per week).
