About Our Client
BetaTec® is an application arm of the BarthHaas Group, the oldest and largest hop company in the world. Drawing on over 200 years of hop experience, BetaTec® focuses on applying hop compounds to new applications that extend beyond the traditional brewing base. Speed, flexibility, and technical competence has made BetaTec® Hop Products the world leader in the "beyond brewing" applications of hop products. They offer global customers' application development, technical support, and consulting services. Their goal is to ensure their customer's product, and production efficiency is the best it can be. BetaTec® offers customised solutions in a wide spectrum of industries and applications. They're constantly discovering new uses for these naturally derived hop compounds.

About the Role
This role is all about delivering commercial results throughout the business across multiple international channels. BetaTec® supply clients in sectors such as fuel ethanol, sugar, yeast, honeybees, flavours and nutraceuticals. As well as continuing to innovate and develop new hop-based products for new applications. You will utilise your experience in delivering increased sales through effective account management and marketing to ensure the continued growth of the business. You will hold full P+L responsibility for sugar, yeast, and flavour sectors worldwide. You will also hold sales and marketing responsibilities for ethanol applications across EU and ROW (non-North America). You will be a real people influencer and will work across internal and external stakeholders to deliver commercial results.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record when it comes to leading a team and delivering commercial results. You will be able to communicate your ability and methods to manage a team through periods of change and development. You will ideally have a bachelor's degree in microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, food science or some related science...and an MBA. You will be able to apply your skills and experience to different products and customer bases. Given the niche nature of the products on offer, you will ideally have a good understanding of food science or come from a food manufacturing, ingredients or pharmaceutical background. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to sell to international customers across multisite, multicultural customers.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have a fantastic commercial track record within the consumer packaged food, food service, ingredients or pharmaceutical industries.. You will have a proven management capability and be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver results through the management of a team. You will need to hold a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally (up to ~50%). You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to learn about the products that BetaTec® offer and the science/chemistry behind them.

Salary
~£90-£110k base salary (DOE) + competitive package
