The company

Part of a larger and well-established group, this food manufacturer is looking to expand and become the market leader in their food product sector – this is therefore a very exciting time to join the team.

The job

As Supply Chain Manager you will ensure the efficient and effective operation of the factory in order to meet customer needs whilst applying good supply chain practice for the planning of production, the supply of raw materials as well as finished goods despatch.

You will need to adhere to all company policies plus legislation which includes health and safety, environment, food safety and environment. You will be able to forecast, plan, manage and complete all necessary work within your remit.

In addition, your role will be to set and manage performance measures whilst managing all warehouse operations and ensuring that all necessary records and documentation are correctly completed and filed.

Your experience

This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced individual to prove themselves.  You must come from a food manufacturing environment with relevant qualifications and ideally experience within procurement.  You will also be able to demonstrate good man-management and customer relationship skills.

The Supply Chain Manager job is based on the South Coast region and is paying £28,000 - £33,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
