Job Details

innocent started with a simple mission: to make drinks that make it easy to do yourself some good. In 1999 we concocted a few smoothies in our kitchen and tested them on people at a music festival; today we’re blending every type of fruit & veg under the sun and selling drinks right across Europe. We have great ambitions: to show the world that you can build a successful business that cares about more than just profit, and to leave things better than we find them. We’re proud to call ourselves Europe’s favourite little healthy drinks company, but we’re still growing. And that means we need more brilliant people who share our ambition, to join in with the next, most exciting, part of our story.

what you'll be doing

Hello,

Here at innocent we’re going through an exciting period of growth – broadening our products portfolio and getting our delicious drinks in the hands of more and more drinkers across Europe and beyond.

We’re looking for someone great to join the central technical team as a food regulatory manager. We have a fixed term (6 month) contract to cover paternity leave until the end of May 2021.

As a food regulatory manager, you’ll be involved every step of the way to ensure our drinks are always legal in our markets. Working with our marketing and innovation teams, you’ll be heavily involved in the new concept development and supporting the plans for the new product launches to ensure any new stuff we bring to market is legal.

You will need to ensure that we keep up with any changes in relevant regulations, conduct data management and risk assessments. You’ll need to ensure you maintain clear communication with stakeholders internally as well as external partners, trade associations and other organisations. Your expertise will help to form some of our regulatory strategies for the future too.

you'll have

  • experience working as a regulatory manager in the food or pharmaceutical industry
  • a good understanding of EU law, and application to food and drink. Bonus points if you have some knowledge of international food law
  • solid risk assessment skills paired with flexible and creative thinking
  • top notch organisational skills, so you can keep all those plates spinning
  • the ability to translate complex stuff into a simple message, with just the right amount of detail so your stakeholders can understand
  • analytical and problem-solving skills - we work with a lot of numbers, so you’ll need to be comfortable manipulating and analysing data in our systems, including Excel.

you'll get

A great opportunity to shape part of the innocent regulatory affairs agenda. This is a chance to build on your technical knowledge in the innocent technical world with a variety of projects as we continue to grow. You’ll also get to work with a bunch of great people internally and externally too.

As well as the standard stuff you get for turning up for work, we have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at.

If you think you have everything we're looking for and more, then we'd love to hear from you. You'll need to get your skates on though, as applications close soon.

Dolly Parton may have worked Nine to Five but you don't have to. We're open to a chat about flexible working. No promises, but we reckon that if it's good for you, then it's good for us.

We're all about building a workplace for the future here at innocent, we believe in equal opportunities and we celebrate diversity. We’re an inclusive workplace, where everyone is welcome, everyone can be natural, and be the best versions of themselves.

You’ll help us to keep doing business the right way – keeping innocent an inclusive and inspiring place to work, using our B Corp status to inspire wider change, and reinforcing our culture of staying little as we grow big.

Company

We want to create a business we can be proud of. So to make this happen, we need brilliant people who inspire and deliver change all around them. That's why we're always looking for talented, ambitious and altruistic folks to come and join us.

We think it's a great place to work and are lucky enough to have been nominated for a few awards to that effect. We've also won a few too, including the Times 100 Best Companies to Work For award, which sits proudly on our mantelpiece.

But if you don't have time to pop round and inspect our awards cabinet, why not watch this little film to see the people who work here tell it like it is.

Dolly Parton may have worked Nine to Five but you don’t have to. We’re all about being healthy and happy here at innocent so we’re open to a chat about flexible working. No promises, but we reckon that if it's good for you, then it's good for us.
