A vibrant gourmet food brand who have just launched their online business direct to consumers. They are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Recipe Developer who can help them on their tasty adventure.
Reporting to the Food Director you will work collaboratively to support with the development of exciting new products. This will involve all aspects of developing new recipes, making sure to bring your culinary flair, passion and trend awareness to each stage of the process. You will also be on hand to tweak recipes, make repeat samples and research new ingredients. Along with this you will find new ways to drive growth and innovation which unlock new opportunities and strive to meet the demands of consumers.
Additionally you will be present for photoshoots, helping to expertly display the delicious attributes of each dish to take full advantage of their marketing potential. You will need to communicate effectively throughout the process to fully understand the product portfolio in alignment with brand plans and values.
A passionate foodie with an eye for innovation coupled with a creative flair for creating delicious products. A connoisseur of food trends who will have an acute perception of the market and where it may lead. As well as being a self-starter with resilience, tenacity and lots of enthusiasm you will need to possess good project management and organisational skills with the ability to work as part of a small dedicated team. This role would suit a Chef or Product Developer who is looking for their first NPD role and be mentored by a supremely talented Food Director.
This is a part-time role: 2 days per week. Candidates will need to hold a UK driving licence and have their own transport.
