We are seeking a talented individual to join an innovative, high-quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK. You will join a friendly and supportive team with a fantastic and fun working atmosphere.

The job

The purpose of your role is to manage overall production operations and be responsible for the effective and successful management of staff, productivity, quality control and safety measures.

You will be responsible for developing an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible team and ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.

You will also implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.

Your experience

You will be a driven and proven Operations, Manufacturing, Production Manager or similar, together with excellent team leadership and management skills.

A solid background of working in the food or beverage production industry is required together with a good knowledge of food safety standards. This role would suit someone who is passionate about continuous improvement and can make changes to ensure the business grows and remains competitive.

You will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to plan effectively for both short and long term goals.

More details

The Operations Manager job is based in the Mid / South Wales region and is paying up to £45,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.

The working hours will be a rotating shift pattern including early (6am-2pm), late (2pm-10pm) and night (10pm-6am) shifts.
