This is an excellent opportunity to develop your NPD career with this prominent multi-site food business producing brand and own label products. They supply innovative and complex products to the major retailers and are looking for an NPD Manager with the capability to adapt well to a fast paced environment.
Reporting to the Head of NPD you will play a key role in the development of new products, managing the critical path from ideation stage through to concept approval and then launch. You will work closely with NPD Chefs and the Process Technologists to ensure that the products, at every stage of the project, meet brand and customer expectations.
You will also work closely with internal teams to identify new opportunities within your category whilst applying your NPD and market knowledge to evaluate the commercial viability of new products. In addition, you will liaise with retail customers, cultivating strong relationships to ensure this business stays ahead of its competitors.
Suit a creative, tenacious and credible NPD Manager or Senior Product Developer who has a proven track record of developing products in the chilled food arena. You need to have an expert understanding of NPD & EPD, and experience of developing products for the major retailers with insight into their systems and processes.
Great communication and influencing skills are also essential along with the ability to motivate and support the wider team.
