This role is working for a fast growing and highly respected ambient food manufacturer which is a world-class leader within their market sector. Through constant creativity, they provide top quality, innovative products that deliver a high degree of customer satisfaction.
The business is now looking to appoint a Marketing & Brand Manager to manage the brand portfolio to help drive the next phase of the company’s growth.
This critical role will report to the Marketing and Innovation Director where you will own and champion your agenda across the company range, playing a key part in ensuring brand protection, future success of the portfolio and maximising profit potential.
Within the brand and licensed portfolio, you will manage the full marketing mix including:
- Developing and leading the brand vision, strategy, planning and activation for the brand portfolio
- Development of category growth plans and solutions for brands and retail customers
- License ownership from commercial negotiation to creative development and product delivery
- Budget planning and delivery across all channels
- P&L planning and management including working with Sales, Finance and Operations to deliver top and bottom-line growth YOY
- You will collaborate with NPD colleagues, using insight to create winning product concepts and propositions to bring innovation to market to delight and excite shoppers
To be considered for the Marketing & Brand Manager job you will possess a proven marketing track record with solid brand, category, and NPD experience within food manufacturing.
You will be a creatively led, highly commercial team player who can communicate and influence at all levels plus possess confidence in challenging existing thinking and beliefs about innovation, consumers, shoppers, and brands.
A clear passion for the food industry is essential and experience working with licensed products is highly desirable.
The Marketing & Brand Manager job is based in the South Central / Midlands region and is paying c. £50,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
The business provides excellent benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, holiday purchase scheme, pension scheme, healthcare plan, retailer discounts, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme and free car parking.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, regular office hours, with a combination of working both at home and in the office.
