I am recruiting for a Site Engineering Manager for a market leading FMCG organisation, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to take complete ownership of the engineering function at a well-established company.
My client has an impressive portfolio of products that are recognised throughout the U.K. and can be bought at all major retailers throughout the country.
As the Site Engineering Manager, it will be your duty to lead the Engineering Team in delivering world class service levels at a fast paced, high pressurised site. You will have ownership of the site planned preventative maintenance strategy ensuring planned production output targets are met whilst meeting quality, labour and cost targets.
You will be the driving force in implementing a continuous improvement and people development culture across the department so its pivotal that you can influence and enthuse your team whilst identifying training needs and potential progression paths.
As Site Engineering Manager you will form part of the leadership team working in collaboration with all departments on various improvement projects to be presented at board level. This individual with sole accountability for the engineering strategy, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance. You will have ownership of the engineering budget.
Ideally you will have several years' experience leading a similar sized team of around 30 in a fast-paced manufacturing site, this role is not for the faint hearted and it will involve some difficult decisions at a challenging site, however for the right individual this creates an exciting opportunity for someone who gets a kick out of turning departments around.
