About Our Client

Our client is a specialist fresh cut flower business in the Southampton area who are committed to supplying an excellent standard of product to the online market.

About the Job

Reporting into the General Manager you will effectively oversee the production and operation, ensure that cost and customer service levels are managed. You will also be responsible for the sales forecasting / MRP system, checking invoices and updating spreadsheets and data onto the MRP system. This is a 50/50 office/warehouse based role, you will be expected to spend time in all departments in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of stock management, the quality control process and order production.

The Ideal Candidate

They are looking for a proactive, adaptive and hands-on Operations Packhouse/Production Manager to support the busy function of the General Manager in a range of tasks. . Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations are essential, as well as the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines. You must be a strong leader with good communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage well with the team. You will ideally possess a Six Sigma Green Belt or higher qualification or be able to represent a Continuous Improvement mindset.
