IT Systems Manager | Food | North West
Salary - ~£40-50k DOE

About the Role
You will utilise your experience within IT to maintain and develop internal systems and hardware to improve efficiencies and user experience. You will work closely with the business and finance team to deliver improvements to their reporting capabilities. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for unifying systems and internal processes to ensure best practises are being followed. You will ensure the business is complying with data security and relevant legislation. You will work closely with a third party IT supplier(s) to create solutions for the business. You'll be able to help colleagues understand the benefits of different IT systems and help train and upskill stakeholders where applicable.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a broad IT and systems background with a food/FMCG business. You will be an expert at creating reports, managing interfaces and extracting data from the system in the best way for business practice. You will know how to extract relevant data from SAP/SAGE etc utilising SQL and VBA. You will understand IT systems and how to manipulate them to make them work harder for a business. You will have a proven ability to work effectively under pressure and be able to respond to changing situations. Your communication skills will be first-class and you will be comfortable conversing IT issues with both IT professional and non-IT people.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will, as a minimum, have experience in leading IT projects to deliver improved systems and practices. You will have experience in a fast-paced business environment and be familiar with Sage, SAP, Transact, SQL and VBA.
