Manufacturing Systems Coordinator

Pontefract (home of Butterkist popcorn)

 

As our Manufacturing Systems Coordinator, you'll be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our site software systems to drive focus on reducing and eliminating losses. You'll be instrumental in building capability in the utilisation of systems and data to remove these losses.

 

Some of your key areas of responsibility will include:

The System Site Coordinator will take responsibility for supervising all the day to day activities of the site to ensure the system runs seamlessly

• SME of site systems, specialising in but not exclusive of FMES, JDE, Autostore etc and develop them to suit the businesses changing requirements

• Support the implementation of new systems and improvements of existing systems

• Masterdata management of systems

• Develop the capability of individuals to improve data analysis to remove losses

• Provide advice and support to the business as required on-site systems

• To influence and support the site to ensure technology is seen as an enabler and a driver of change

• To establish and effectively manage the relationships between the site, KP Snacks and other third party suppliers to ensure efficient service delivery

• To ensure involvement and representation at superuser level is maintained within the business, to control established processes and drive the changes that will improve these processes across the business in a standardised way

• Use specialist expertise in systems and software to build the structure of the systems and specific reports, to provide data for sustainable site performance improvements

• Support the health of the systems, through diagnosis and fixing of system errors and escalating to KP support functions and third-party suppliers if necessary

• Analyse common user interface errors and be proactive in resolving these long term

• Documenting Standard Work Processes in how systems work

• Deliver recommendations of how the site can best utilise the technology capability available within the systems

• Drive process compliance in the use of systems
