This is an outstanding opportunity to join a progressive food business as they accelerate their strong growth plans.

As General Manager (GM) of a very successful multi-site food business, you will be responsible for the production facilities. Reporting into the COO, whilst working closely with and part of the Senior Leadership Team you will develop the business operational strategy in line with its growth ambition.

The span of control covers Manufacturing Strategy, Operational Performance and People Engagement.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a successful track record for delivery and maximising manufacturing opportunities. You will have the intellect and capacity to work within a complex multiple product and customer environment and manage all the conflicting demands that entails.

The people piece is key - you will have experience and knowledge of tools to lead, coach and mentor manufacturing teams to become high performing teams.

It is imperative that you have experienced best in class (WCM) operations and understand "what good looks like". You will have played an instrumental part in developing a continuous improvement culture and delivered service levels of >99.5%.

The ideal candidate will come from food manufacturing, own label or branded, having worked across multi-site operations within a world class environment, and have the skills to adapt those learnings into an entrepreneurial culture. This role will give you freedom to act and a broad remit.
