Job Details
The Process Lead is responsible for the DMS (Daily Management System) processes, structured problem solving and supports and helps build employee capability.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
DMS
• Responsibility for the Center Line Management System for the line(s)
• Creating and managing the equipment Centrelines, creating new ones when needed
• Ensuring CIL checks take place to the agreed frequency • Development of procedures to support Equipment Operators (EO’s)
• Developing EO’s in dealing with deviations and reporting • Analysing and validating existing centrelines
• Conduct weekly "health checks" to identify gaps within the DMS and implement countermeasures
Changeovers
• Responsibility for the Changeover DMS for line(s)
• Preparation of standard procedures concerning changeovers for each SKU
• Evaluation of changeover performance
• Coaching of EO’s to continually improve changeover procedures
• Management of Rapid Changeover Workshops to identify additional ways to reduce changeover times
• Responsibility for the Change Management DMS and the validation process
• Shares knowledge and best practice across the plant/site
Elimination of losses
• Analyse machine data for the identification and elimination of losses
• Prioritise losses using tools such as “Loss Tree’s” or “S Shapes” to understand the current and future options and decide on actions with the Line Lead and Maintenance Lead
• Participate in the daily DDS with the Line Lead to prioritise and allocate resource for the next 24 hours and report on the results of the last 24 hours
• Report on the CL, CO, DMS, Top 3 stops and initial findings on the root causes and process failures
• Responsibility for online data capture system
Work safety, hygiene and compliance
• Participate in the planning, organisation, execution and control of actions to improve work safety and hygiene with the occupational health, safety and the hygiene specialist of the plant
• Participation in the execution and implementation of actions for preparation for certifications such as IFS and ISO
• Observe all regulations, collective and company agreements
