Production Planner

I am working with a leading food business who have an immediate requirement for an experienced Production Planner to help manage the production function. A new purpose built process site based in Oxfordshire is where this role will be situated.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be need to have experience in the key areas below:

• Collate and report on the day’s orders, entering stock and sales information
• Report all information on the Packing Centre to Central Operations team
• Provide the production team with all the required information to plan production
• Manage and control all promotional planning within the packing centre
• Coordinate all inter-packing centre packing and transfers to achieve the business objectives
• Minimise waste and maximise efficiency by working with the production management
• Develop a dynamic and positive attitude to ensure the challenges of a busy production department are reduced by working closely with the production team
• Manage the KPIs identified by the Production Manager and work towards achieving agreed targets
• Ensure that product quality, integrity and traceability are encountered for and all necessary documentation is completed
• Build and maintain cohesive relationships with all departments and ensure lines of communication are open
• Ensure production reporting and admin is complete, up-to-date, and accurate
• Implement and review processes with the Production Manager to ensure any areas of inefficiency and waste are reduced
• It is imperative that site hygiene, health & safety and document control are all in line with customer specifications
