40 – 45K


This is an exciting opportunity to join a company where you will co-ordinate the day-to-day Projects within the New Product Development Department and influence business direction. It is a fast-paced environment where you will quickly see your creations on the shelf!


  • Identify new products & opportunities for the business and for customer own brand
  • Manage the successful launch of projects from concept to market
  • Have a hands-on approach when it comes to research & recipe development
  • Sourcing new raw materials from existing & new suppliers in line with company sourcing policy while delivering innovation with on-trend ingredients
  • Developing new packaging & pack formats with packaging supply partners
  • Liaising with designers to maximise key selling points of any new products pack design
  • Delivering NPD within commercial targets
  • Cost engineering to specific targets
  • Have a strong awareness of consumer trends, working closely with our accounts team to improve customer insight
  • Present new products & upgrades to the customer in a professional manner, demonstrating
    your bakery, food ingredient & process knowledge & expertise
  • Preparing samples, presentation packs & any theatre required

The ideal candidate

  • A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a similar role
  • Third Level Qualification in Culinary Arts/Food Innovation would be beneficial
  • Have strong Project Management skills
  • Passionate about food, ingredients, and innovative food concepts
  • Ability to think outside the box and identify solutions for the customer that fall within the business strategy
