Junior Account Manager
Our client is one of the world's leading players in fresh produce, and due to continued growth they are looking to strengthen their team by appointing a Junior Account Manager to assist the Commercial Director in dealing with both growers and customers alike.
Reporting in to the commercial director this is a really fascinating role consisting of daily liaison with overseas growers and UK retailers. No two days will be the same, you will be resolving issues, you will be analysing the competition, dealing with retailers on both commercial and technical issues and generally assisting in running a really fast moving business with a highly perishable product.
Ideally you will have had some experience in dealing with supermarket accounts with fresh, short life products on a daily basis, in a responsive and professional manner. You will be tasked with further developing the relationship with the customers by fully understanding the category, developing an insight in to the numbers and helping drive the business forward by spotting opportunities and exploiting them.
As it is such a fast paced product area, you will be highly involved in planning and forecasting. New product development, good service levels, and overall excellent customer management will see this business develop further.
