Quality Manager | Fresh Produce| Essex
£30-40k
We are working with a grower packer of fresh produce, who are looking to recruit an experienced fresh produce Quality Manager, to lead and develop the QA team.
The role
Full responsibility for the Quality aspects of the Company's operations.
Managing a team of QCs
Setting and maintaining rotas and ensuring holiday cover.
Assessing the Company's product specifications to meet customer requirements.
Custodian of the Company's BRC accreditation.
Communicating directly with retail customers as required and ensuring the execution of corrective actions and compliance with customers' specifications.
Work closely with production teams to ensure focus on customer requirements is adhered to all times
The candidate
You will currently be working in a technical/quality role within fresh produce
Experience of fresh produce in low or high care environment is desirable.
Experience of managing and leading a team
Working knowledge of QMS
Excellent IT skills
Flexible approach to work
Full driving licence and car
