This small but perfectly formed food manufacturer has been around for 20 years. You may not have heard of them, but you have almost certainly sampled their tasty, innovative party food. M&S is a key customer, which speaks volumes about the quality and integrity of the product.

Working on their behalf, I'm on the lookout for a Technical Manager with the same exacting standards, to head up the UK Technical team based at a state-of-the-art foodie hub in Central London.

It's all about exciting innovation, you'll need to work closely with NPD to deliver risk assessed technical processes and evidenced compliance. This role has dual reports to the UK based MD, and Technical Director who is based at the factory in Eastern Asia.

You'll need a food science or technology degree, along with at least 5 years' technical experience gained in a food manufacturing environment. Product knowledge should include chilled and/or frozen prepared food using fresh ingredients.

Adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders and with a one-team approach, experience supplying private label products to key retailers - ideally M&S, along with comprehensive exposure of NPD campaign production is also key.

Once all travel restrictions are lifted, you will be expected to travel to the factory in Eastern Asia around 3-4 times a year, along with regular visits to the packing facility based in the Midlands.
