Salary: up to £60K
About Our Client
This is an excellent opportunity to manage a site within a successful and well-respected Fresh Produce Business who are committed to supplying an excellent standard of product to the retail and wholesale sectors.
About the Job
They are looking for a senior and highly experienced Operations Manager to support the Director and assist the senior management team; ensuring the entire operation is running smoothly - responsible for Production, Despatch, Maintenance, Transport and Storage.
You will be responsible for all fresh site operations, leading and coaching the team at all levels, delivering against the business plan and promoting and encouraging values. You will assist the senior team to achieve KPi / goal requirements and provide a communication route for the day to day operations to the Operations Director.
The Ideal Candidate
To be a successful candidate, you will be an experienced production / Operations Manager ideally coming from the fresh produce sector if not the food manufacturing sector.
It goes without saying, you will have excellent communication skills along with the ability to plan and manage your work load accordingly.
