Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join a fast-growing manufacturing business in Newbury.

My client is a multi-sited, market-leading manufacturer who has exciting growth plans in place! Recognised throughout the UK and has an international reach.

I am looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the engineering team undertaking the day to day electrical and mechanical activities within the plant. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will complete engineering duties and PPM in line with the maintenance strategy.

It will be your duty to keep visual checks on machinery as required and attending to machine breakdowns solving any electrical or mechanical failures.

As a Maintenance Technician you will be working with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, mixers, valves, pumps and takes with fault finding on PLCs (Siemens S7, etc) and programming.

To be considered for this role you will ideally be apprentice served and be qualified up to 17th/18th edition City and Guilds or equivalent and have experience working within a busy manufacturer before.
