Packaging Manager - Food Manufacturing - Kent

Excellent opportunity for a Packaging Manager to join a well-established Food business in Kent.

My client is a market-leading food manufacturer who has been a business leader for over 70 years in Kent, this is an exciting time to join as they continue to lead the way on their growth journey.

I am looking for a Packaging Manager who will take ownership of the supply and procurement of all packaging materials, artwork approval, and forecasting timely provision of packaging.

It will be your responsibility to maintain systems ensuring up to date data and information, as packaging manager you will work to BRC regulations and other legislation and technical specifications.

This diverse role will be an exciting mix of forecasting and negotiation and requires someone to be data obsessed identifying any opportunities for improving processes and reducing costs for the business.

You will be a strong leader who has the ability to influence teams, this role isn't for the faint-hearted and it will come with some difficult decisions but for individuals who like a challenge and enjoy leading and improving sites then this could be a perfect opportunity.

Ideally, you would have worked within a similar role before within the food manufacturing industry.
