THE WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Key responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager will include:Management of stock from receipt to dispatch Ensuring accuracy of stock rotation and picking of products for each orderBeing a food environment Technical standards and Traceability are key - so paper trails and computer systems must be updated accurately at all timesCommunication and co-operation with other departments, suppliers and customers are essential to achieve successful Warehouse OperationsPeople Management is an important part of the role, covering Training, Resource Planning, Staff Motivation and DisciplinariesHealth & Safety standards and procedures must be adhered to and maintained at all times.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You will have a background in a similar Warehouse role ideally in the Food Sector or a similar FMCG business and will be a first-class communicator able to lead your shift and maintain the highest standards in operations. On top of this you will also need:Ability to understand standards and practices both in Quality Control and Health & Safety, including HACCP.Leadership and able to train staff.Physically fit and comfortable to be on foot for the duration of working hours.Able to lift up to 30kg in weight.
