Our client is a highly successful Farming business who are looking to strengthen their dynamic management team. We are recruiting for talented Farm Operations Manager who is experienced in Fresh Produce farming.

The Candidate:

We are looking for high calibre Farm Operations Manager. You will be an experienced farming professional who is highly organised, knowledgeable and who has a passion for what they do.

This role reports directly to the to the Farm Director and is a key role for our client , you will have a proven track record of managing large teams ( you will have Assistant Farm Manager and Harvest team Leaders .

This a large scale fresh produce operation and you will be responsible for all the harvesting of the crops.

As Farm Operations Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategy. Continually review and adjust the strategy in line with internal and external changes.

Develop, review and deliver positive KPI results in People (H&S), Quality, Cost and Service that deliver against the operations strategy. Have a proactive approach to new business and product development including trial work, visiting research stations, networking with other growers and industry stakeholders and keeping updated with press information.

You will actively promote a Health &Safety and best practice and be a a role model for your team, always delivering the very highest standards and working with openness, honesty, passion and integrity. Your well-developed influencing skills will make you successful in this key role.
