This food manufacturing Operations role is as much about the people as it is about the product. Experience has taught you that without a tight-knit team behind you, the pressures to deliver in a high output food factory can seem insurmountable.

The role of Shift Manager can feel like a juggling act, especially when you're working across 3 shifts. And although there will be around 100 on each shift, times that by 3 and the reality is, you will need to engage with up to 300. Making sure each and every one is onboard, motivated and accountable is the key to success.

Bring examples of past wins on waste and cost reduction, OEE optimisation and manufacturing best practice, because this is a place where good ideas are listened to with

the ownership and autonomy to put them into action.

You should also come with an open mind and willingness to learn, as you'll be working alongside some of the best, where coaching and career development are taken seriously. Working to WMC standards, Engineering and Production have a one-team ethos which the Leadership encourages and supports.

This is a unionised site, therefore experience gained in this environment and of managing IR and ER challenges will be the ideal.
