Stock Control Administrator

We are seeking a talented individual to work for an innovative, high quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK.
The purpose of the job is to be responsible for supporting the stock control team with administration and stock checks, ensuring that stock is accurate, and traceability is maintained at all times.
- Complete weekly consumable counts and quarterly stock checks
- Assist in reconciling Freightmap daily, identify discrepancies and record where necessary, escalating any issues
- Assist in managing customer returned goods in a timely manner
- Record and process damaged stock
- Assist in managing the traceability exercises with QA on a regular basis plus for customer audits
- Ensure that traceability is maintained on all
- Assist in the management of the annual stock take
You will have strong communication and organisational skills, an understanding of stock movements across the manufacturing workflow plus experience in a multi-warehousing environment.
You will be capable of working within a team and also self-sufficient; willing to step in to support across the team when required.
Good IT & numeracy skills are also required, and ideally have previous experience using stock control computer software. Knowledge of Access Supply Chain would be beneficial.
The Stock Control Administrator job is based in the Essex region and is paying £18,000 - £20,000 (paid at an hourly rate according to shift worked).
The working hours will be 9.30 am – 6 pm, however some flexibility on working hours can be offered to the right candidate.
