A new Hygiene Manager job has just become available working for a dynamic food business which manufactures high quality food products.
The company work closely with their customers to develop an innovative, great tasting product range and have a strong reputation for supply of retailer brand; working very closely with both leading UK retailers multiples and food manufacturers.

As Hygiene Manager you will have full responsibility for the hygiene team, ensuring the agreed procedures and documentation are relevant and being followed.
- Be the site expert in the use of cleaning processes, procedures and GMP standards to achieve best practice
- Support good health and safety working practice in the development of cleaning processes and procedures
- Create work instructions, key inspection points and records for all hygiene processes and procedures
- Support the company departments in complaint investigations relating to hygiene and GMP
You will be able to demonstrate strong hygiene experience from within a food manufacturing background, preferably in a managerial / supervisory role together with good knowledge of food industry hygiene working practices i.e. BRC, corrective action closure, internal auditing, food cleaning chemicals.
You will be flexible, have the ability to communicate at all levels with excellent time management and prioritisation skills. Knowledge of UK retailer customer codes of practice (COP’s) is highly beneficial.
The Hygiene Manager job is based in the Home Counties / South Central region and is paying up to £45,000 according to previous skills and experience.
The business offers fantastic benefits including discretionary bonus, pension, life assurance, access to healthcare cash plan and 31 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing with years of service.
The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Friday to Tuesday, with at least 8 hours worked on the weekend days.
