Production Supervisor

Looking for a production supervisor role working early and back shift?

As Production Supervisor of this expanding food manufacturer, you will lead the production team of up to 40 to achieve production and processing targets to specified quality and customer standards. The team’s roles will include preparation and processing of materials, operating food production machinery and the packaging of finished goods.

Maintaining personal and factory hygiene standards, including the cleaning of equipment and premises and keeping records of work done are also requirements of the role. You will ensure a safe environment for yourself and others and keep relevant managers up to date with any factors that affect quality, efficiency and safety in processing and production. An ability to carry out basic machinery repairs would be an advantage.

Your focus will be maintaining a high quality and quantity of output to meet customer’s needs and you will be able to work in an orderly way. The successful candidates will be willing to work shifts and follow set procedures and processes. Being flexible around hours worked is also essential.

As this is a key role within the business we are looking for 2 years Supervisory experience in a food manufacturing role. You will work and communicate well with others and will have a good standard of written and spoken English.
